Best Vons I have been at I’ve been coming here for 8 years I love this Vons they’re all like family to me. Everyone is very friendly nice amazing people they will help you with anything you need I’m sure if people come across employees that are rube it’s maybe because they are tired and are working there butts off but this Vons they do everything they can to do better and be the best
This Vons is the best! They have everything you need everything is in stock
I have been shopping at this store for 34 years. It has gone WAY down hill over the years. The absolute WORST thing about this store (although there are many) is that they routinely OVERCHARGE me . Like every. single. trip. They have complicated "deals" that you need their app on your phone to take advantage of, but even with the app, the prices are NEVER correct, and of course always in their favor. When you go home and review your receipt and realize you have been overcharged yet AGAIN, and waste your time returning to the store the next day with your receipt and a copy of their current ad, the 'supervisors' NEVER apologize for over charging you, just look annoyed they have to deal with a refund. No courtesy $5 certificate is offered for your time or inconvenience, nothing. Zero. Zip. And the other worst things about this store is that they are routinely out of sale items, even on the first day of the sale, and the dark haired youngish kid at the meat dept. counter in the evenings is the rudest, most sarcastic and condescending employee I have ever come across anywhere. I can not fathom WHY this kid still has a job there, but if you hate your job, why don't you go elsewhere instead of taking it out on customers?
I was overcharged $10 + once again today, and this is the last straw for me. I am going to escalate my complaint to corporate and if I don't get a satisfactory response will look in to whomever grocery stores report to as far as a government agency that might be interested in this stores routine over charging. Or maybe a class action attorney. I can not be the only person who is routinely overcharged. Nice extra income for Vons... and most people probably never notice or would not bother going back to the store for a $10 overcharge. Multiply that times 52 weeks in a year, and you're talking some serious coin. If you have a choice, definitely shop elsewhere.
We arrived at 4:53, 7 minutes before closing (short day due to Christmas) and some very rude young employee closed the door on us, saying he wanted to go home and wouldn't let anyone else in. I explained that we needed to buy literally one thing and leave, he said “you should have come earlier,” for some reason he let the other couple in, and there were about 7 other people after us and he scream at the people who were trying to come in. One man explained that he needed to buy milk for his child, but this employee ignored that too. In 10 years in America, this was the first time I encountered such aggressive behavior in a grocery store.
I hope this aggressive person is fired immediately.
This location in the last six months or so has really gone down in quality. The produce department shelves are almost always empty and what they do have is old and rotting. I’ve gone to the store four times this week trying to find a roast that was on sale, and they have packages that you wouldn’t even want to feed your dog. The store really needs a manager to take care of it
First off, the meat department, and specifically Tony and Alek are awesome and always very helpful when I have questions. I always visit this store even though I live in Poway as they are great. i would also like to commend the cashiers as they are always very friendly and keep things moving. Also, they are happy to help with the sometimes difficult vons app.
Hi my name is Clairiece Thompson, I use to work here. I there for a week and I left this place because of how terrible management is. The first week they are threatening to take me off the schedule knowing i really need this job. And you can tell the supervisors abuse their position of power. I have seen the supervisors literally treat the customers so wrong especially the ones who don’t speak English. I would not shop or work at this store.
Good size store, well stocked. Once issues is there long lines. They have tried to work on it with their "three's a crowd" initiative, but I still spend more time in line than I like.
Very nice grocery store located in PQ Town Center. Starbucks inside. Starbucks next door. Large selection of everything you need. Beer and wine are sold there. They have a deli and dessert counter. Flowers are sold too. Great grocery store. Sometimes the checkout is long. Reward program helps you save on many items.
Quick and easy. Stickers on floor were helpful in locations items. Checkout person was helpful in adjusting the price charged for a sale item not recognized by the bar code scanner. Keep up the great service.
Not autism friendly, to start with. From the time I walked through the front door (on the floral side) this store was a nightmare to navigate. The floor space open for foot traffic is so sparse and snug that a single other person with a cart can create enough of an obstacle that you must turn fully around to reroute. Probably spent a solid two minutes in the store before I could think of anything but how to get past everything. Then I got to the first item I needed and noted that it was $1-3 more expensive than it would be elsewhere so I went to Stater Bros instead.
